National exposure for game-dev program

March 11, 2013

A new publication describes ASU game-development success.

The game-development program at Angelo State got national exposure at the 44th ACM Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE 2013) in Denver, Colorado.  We presented a paper titled “Growing a Computer Science Program with a Focus on Game Development”, co-authored by Tim Roden and Rob LeGrand.  It was part of the Curricular Innovations session and outlined how we were able to increase enrollment and interest in computer science by creating new game-development courses and a game-development certificate available to all ASU students.
