ASU to Exhibit Texas Tech M.F.A. Art Students’ Works

Angelo State University’s Department of Art and Music will host an exhibition by master’s level art students from the Texas Tech University School of Visual Arts beginning Monday, Jan. 25, and running through Feb. 26.

The exhibition is open free to the public weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Gallery 193 in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

The exhibition, titled “.emergence,” will feature the works of graduate art students and will display cutting edge explorations in painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture.

One of the largest and most recognized graduate art programs in the country, the Texas Tech art school offers a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.), which is recognized as the terminal degree in art.
