ASU Students to Present Papers at National Conference

February 04, 2010

Fifteen Angelo State University undergraduate communication students will present papers at the University of North Texas Student Communication Conference Feb. 26-27 in Denton.

The competitive event, titled “New Voices, New Perspectives Student Research Conference,” invited the ASU students after they each received the required two recommendations from blind reviewers. The ASU entries make up almost half of the accepted papers submitted by college students from some of the nation’s top universities.

ASU’s entries from Dr. Lana Marlow’s “Principles of Persuasion” class include papers by Derek Holbrook, Austin Osmanski, Anne Rose Cendak, Emily Griffin, Leah Newman, Marissa Gabaldon, Nick Stamets, Paden Johnson, Kristen Kidwell, Racheal Ward, Sadie Ann Edwards, Destiny Byrd, Darcie Helms, Brence Minor and Janet Heismann.
