Acoustic Guitarist, Singer to Headline ASU’s Club Café

February 05, 2010

Singer/songwriter Hana Pestle will bring her acoustic guitar-based music to Angelo State University’s Club Café at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the Houston Harte University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.

Admission is $1 at the door, and coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and light refreshments will be served.

Pestle’s love of music preceded her first live performance at age 14 as she sang along with her favorite CDs as a child. After learning to play the guitar, and performing regularly, Pestle caught the eye of writer and producer Michael “Fish” Herring and Evanescence co-founder Ben Moody.

While recording her debut album, Pestle recorded backup vocals for Celine Dion. Pestle’s first recording, the self-titled “Hana Pestle EP” featured three original songs. She has opened for Collective Soul, Live and Blues Traveler. She released her first studio album, “This Way,” in 2009.
