ASU to Host Texas Nurses Association Forum

Angelo State University will host a Texas Nurses Association (TNA) forum for local and area nurses on Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the ASU Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Dr. Robert Grant, medical director of the Shannon Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in San Angelo, will be the featured speaker. His presentation is titled “Identifying and Treating Diabetic Foot Infections.”

The forum is free and all local and area nurses are encouraged to attend. Advance registration is not required. Those who attend will be eligible for 1.1 contact hours of continuing nursing education credit. The event is being co-sponsored by Shannon Medical Center and District 16 of the TNA.
