ASU Communication Students to Present Papers at Conference

Eight Angelo State University communication students will present papers on Friday, March 5, at the 26th Annual All-University Conference on the Advancement of Women in Higher Education on the Texas Tech University campus in Lubbock.

The conference, titled “Regarding Nature: Gender, Identity, and Ecologies of Change,” will feature scholars at undergraduate, graduate and professional levels. ASU presenters will be Natalie Martinez, Kassie Darby, Aaron Thomas, Anthony Bryson, Jazmin Hermandez, Sadie Edwards, Laura Riggs and Derek Holbrook.

“This is another extraordinary honor for our students,” said Dr. Lana Marlow, ASU assistant professor of communication and faculty sponsor. “This is an interdisciplinary conference and a wonderful opportunity for our students.”
