If You Can’t Go, We Can Tow!

Since they had to pay for towing of the trucks they were called on to bring in for repair, they saw an increasing need in the market for another 18 wheeler tow truck that is capable of an 80,000 pound capacity. The increasing oil field activity has added to this need in the market. Dusty searched and found the truck at a good price. They immediately started gaining business and named their business expansion Southern Industrial Towing LLC.
Dusty and Terry contacted Dave Erickson of the ASU SBDC for help in ascertaining if purchasing the truck would be a financially feasible expansion of their business. Erickson created a cash flow projection which he reviewed with them, helping to make the decision to move ahead.
Dusty and Terry have been pleased with the services received by the SBDC. Terry stated “with training and education programs through the SBDC, we have in the last nine months been able to minimize problems, increase profits, and gain a better understanding of how to effectively run our business.”
