Let Zeke Do It!
January 01, 2015
He had never thought about making it his full-time job until he began to notice increased highway traffic in, around and through his hometown of Eden. Zeke was commuting to San Angelo on a weekly basis for work and he began to formulate a plan for his future, his own shop.
Zeke and wife, Gracie, approached the local director of the Eden Economic Development Corporation, Laura Bowden. Laura put them in contact with Peggy Rosser, Small Business Development Advisor for the rural area.
“Laura told me to call Angelo State University SBDC advisor, Peggy Rosser. Peggy comes to Eden often and really helps us with our business.” Although the Salazar’s have not yet used EDC funding for the opening of their business on September 8th, they do plan to re-visit that option once they decide to expand.
The opening of E-Z Tires in Eden has provided a job for Zeke and a much needed service for all the traffic in the area.
