The College of Business has been named one of the nation’s 64 Best Business Schools for Veterans by the Military Times organization in its Best for Vets: Business Schools 2014 rankings.
The ASU College of Business ranked No. 17 out of 64 business schools on the list and is one of seven business schools in Texas to earn the “Best for Vets” designation. The Military Times comprises the Air Force Times, Army Times, Marine Corps Times and Navy Times newspapers, their corresponding websites and the Military Times EDGE magazine.
The “Best for Vets: Business Schools” rankings are based on an 80-question survey analysis of a school’s offerings for military veterans. The rankings focus on culture and curriculum and factor in academic quality; outcomes and policies; school culture; student support; and cost.
Additionally, ASU’s educator preparation program has been ranked in the top 10 nationally for its online graduate degree offerings for veterans by U.S. News and World Report for its 2014 edition of Best Online Programs for Veterans.
Overall, ASU ranked No. 8 among the 45 U.S. colleges and universities identified by U.S. News and World Report as offering top online graduate education programs for veterans, and is one of only three Texas schools on the list.
The Best Online Programs for Veterans ranking follows up ASU’s graduate education program being ranked No. 36 in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s overall 2014 Best Online Programs list released in January. That overall ranking was a prerequisite for the program to be considered for the veterans rankings.
