Emily McLemore is a passionate arts advocate, teacher and mentor. From her first experience with UIL OAP as a freshman in high school, Mrs. McLemore fell in love with the one act play process and philosophy. This passion for theatre led her to earn both her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Hardin-Simmons University and her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from Florida Atlantic University. Mrs. McLemore taught theatre and directed UIL OAP in both rural and suburban schools spending time at both the junior high and high school levels for close to ten years and then spent a dozen years teaching art at the high school level. Mrs. McLemore is an Instructional Designer and Adjunct Theatre Instructor for Tarleton State University. Mrs. McLemore is also a published writer/playwright and researches fine arts educational practices. Mrs. McLemore enjoys using her passion for the stage and her gifts in design and directing as a critic judge. At the end of the day, her goal is to be a strong and positive voice for directors and students.
