Memorial Oak Grove

This monument is dedicated to the 30 San Angelo College students who died during World War II. The monument is shaded by live oak trees planted in their honor. Each name represents a life cut short, some in training accidents as close as San Marcos and Seguin, and others on battlefields whose names resonate through American history – Guadalcanal, Normandy and Iwo Jima.
