Welcome to the homepage of the Office of Academic Affairs and Provost at Angelo State University. The team of administrators, faculty, and staff who work in this office spend every waking minute working to advance the mission of ASU and to ensure that students have a great college experience that prepares them for lifelong learning and a productive career in their chosen endeavor.
Angelo State University is changing. From “Signature” courses to undergraduate research experiences to study abroad, the opportunity to expand your horizons beyond the classroom are endless. Our focus and resources are dedicated to enhancing the learning environment and providing ASU students with increased access to on-line opportunities, more writing-intensive course options, and more opportunities for service-learning to produce graduates well-equipped to be active and responsible citizens.
At the same time, faculty research that advances knowledge and understanding, improves the quality of life, and enhances economic development in the region are an important part of any comprehensive university. Our faculty lead in many areas important to the region, the nation, and the world. In the area of public service, we are committed to building strong communities across the state and extending ASU’s connections around the world.
