Shakespeare and Social Justice

This course will examine Theatre and its role as a voice for social justice. Students will examine how theatre throughout history has provided an insight into social issues and how it can be used for a positive change. 

“This course will discuss in some detail the struggles that men experience in prison and their crimes. Students who are sensitive to conversations about incarceration or students who will have difficulty participating in such conversations should register for a different GS course.”
