A Resolution to recognize the ASU Wool Judging Team for winning the 2019 Collegiate National Championship
The Angelo State Student Government Association wishes to recognize the 2019 ASU Wool Judging Team for winning the 2019 Collegiate National Championship by placing first at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Collegiate Wool Judging Contest earlier this month.
Eight students traveled to Houston, Texas to represent Angelo State University and to compete in the national championship, outperforming Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, and the University of Wyoming.
These students take the time out of their schedule to help represent the university at all functions and in the San Angelo community.
The ASU Wool Judging Team, coached by Dr. Will Dickison, associate professor of agriculture, along with student coaches Matthew Salisbury, Tate Schwartz, and Dyson Gallien put in a tremendous amount of time and commitment to help better Angelo State University.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Angelo State Student Government Association recognizes the ASU Wool Judging Team for winning the 2019 Collegiate National Championship and that copies of this resolution be sent to; Dr. Will Dickison, team coach; Matthew Salisbury, student coach; Tate Schwartz, student coach; Dyson Gallien, student coach; Clayton Addison, team member; Hannah Collins, team member; Haley Gifford, team member; Jordan Schroeder, team member; Trevor Schwartz, team member; Stran Stultz, team member; Hannah Thompson, team member; Cassie Weishuhn, team member.
