ASU Up & Coming Scholars Program Eva Camúñez Tucker
The ASU Up & Coming Scholars Program Eva Camúñez Tucker allows worthy high school students of good academic ability the chance to plan, prepare for and pursue a college degree.

Criteria

San Angelo area students from these schools are invited to participate:
- Lake View
- Central
- Cornerstone Christian
- Texas Leadership Charter Academy
- Ambleside
- Christoval
- Students must rank in the top one-third of their class at the end of their freshman (ninth grade) year and are invited to apply for the Eva Camúñez Up & Coming Scholars Program based on their academic progress.
- Once selected, acceptance letters will be mailed out. Students must then maintain an academic standing in the top half of their class each year.
- Program participants in good standing will be required to meet the admission standards of all students seeking admittance to Angelo State University.
Benefits
A special identification card that grants access to:
- Fitness facilities in the Ben Kelly Center for Human Performance
- The Porter Henderson Library and its technology resources
- Designated campus computer labs
- ASU home intercollegiate athletic events (free of charge)
