Student Health Insurance & Coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Enrollment

Angelo State University students have the option to purchase student health insurance provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (through Academic HealthPlans).

To learn more or enroll in the student health insurance, go to Academic HealthPlans or call 855-850-4299.

The plan, referenced above, is offered to current ASU students (that meet eligibility requirements) and does fulfill the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

Affordable Care Act (ACA)

The payment of the compulsory Medical Services Fee at ASU and/or the use of the University Clinic do not satisfy the requirements of the ACA. Visit the HealthCare.gov Blog.
