About Arnold Air Society
Robert G. Carr Squadron
- ASU’s prestigious squadron has more than 25 active cadets. The members learn professionalism, perform services and strive to do their best in all they do.
- Our squadron was one of the first to be formed and named an honorary member after AAS was recognized by the Air Force.
Awards
- AAS members won first place in the “Anything Goes” category at the 2009 Armed Forces Chili Cook-Off and earned top awards for the past seven consecutive years.
- The group was presented with the “Outstanding Squadron Award” at the fall 2009 Area IX Conclave.
- The squadron has earned six national leadership awards including “Outstanding Medium Squadron.”
