Our department is designed to help you find your interests within the healthcare industry.

You can choose from several different degree specializations that will prepare you to start your career in a variety of health science professions, or advance to graduate studies in healthcare or public health. You will also gain valuable communication, problem-solving and analytical-thinking skills that will give you a head start when you graduate.


Health science and public health are dynamic and diverse industries. There are just so many ways for you to help people. Whether you want to treat clients in athletic, rehab or public health settings, or you are more interested in the administrative side of healthcare, your ASU degree is your ticket to a wide range of exciting health science and public health career fields.

Gain valuable experience as you conduct research projects with your professors, shadow local healthcare professionals and participate in community service. There will also be future chances for summer study abroad. These activities help fulfill requirements for graduate or medical school and will enhance your résumé.
