Practical Experience

Gain valuable hands-on experience by acting as a grader or class assistant, or as a tutor in our Math Lab. You can also work on research projects or independent study with your professors.

For over 20 years, our students have maintained a 100% pass rate on the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) teacher certification test for secondary mathematics.

You can join our chapters of the Mathematical Association of America and Pi Mu Epsilon national mathematics honor society for networking, professional development and social events as you really get to know your fellow students and professors.
