Math Clubs

Mathematical Association of America—ASU Student Chapter

The chapter works to promote the enjoyment of mathematics and to build camaraderie among students and faculty. Monthly meetings are held at noon, and lunch is usually provided.

We are involved in various events throughout the year, such as the Research Seminar and the Mobius Strip Competition. We also attend the annual spring meeting of the Texas Section of the MAA. This two-day conference brings together students and faculty from colleges across the state. It gives everyone the opportunity to meet new people and attend informative presentations and lectures.

Anyone interested in mathematics is invited to join. For more information, contact Dr. Andrew Siefker at andrew.siefker@angelo.edu.

Pi Mu Epsilon—ASU Student Chapter

Pi Mu Epsilon is a national honor society that recognizes students who have achieved academic distinction in the field of mathematics. For more information, contact Simon Pfeil, simon.pfeil@angelo.edu
