This is a residential camp, and students will be housed in ASU’s Plaza Verde residence hall.

Cost: $425 per person

The cost includes tuition and fees, housing, meals and swag.

About the Camp

Nursing Discovery Camp 9.0 has two areas of emphasis, each with its own objectives.

Discover Nursing

Students will be immersed in the world of nursing and nurse education. They will:

  • Learn from ASU nursing faculty and students.
  • Interact with practicing RNs in different specialty areas.
  • Learn basic nursing skills. 
  • Experience how nurses use knowledge of anatomy and physiology, math and systems to care for patients.
  • Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art, AI-supported patient simulators.
  • Interact with healthcare team members - physical therapists, social workers, athletic trainers and counseling psychologists.
  • Learn more about ASU and our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program.
  • Complete American Heart Association CPR and First Aid training.
