Our department is dedicated to teaching and training you to be a skilled physical therapy practitioner who provides valuable services to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Here, you will learn to promote, restore and maintain optimal human function through our interactive, systems-based program.
Degree
Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
This degree will prepare you to become a licensed physical therapist and immediately start your professional career.

The Physical Therapy program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

State-of-the-Art Facilities
Our Health and Human Services Building is the newest academic facility on campus. Our department includes six high-tech skills laboratories, a diabetes research lab and multipurpose classrooms dedicated to physical therapy study and research.

Our Distinguished Graduate Scholarship Program offers highly qualified students the opportunity to earn their D.P.T. degree with most tuition paid.

Student Activities
You can join our Angelo State Physical Therapy Association student organization for professional development and networking. You can also expand your perspective by participating in our PT Lunch and Learn Series, and present your research at our annual Graduate Research Showcase.
