Phi Alpha Honor Society (Social Work)
The purpose of the Phi Alpha honor society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.
Student Social Work Association
The Student Social Work Association’s (SSWA) purpose is to provide students with experience and knowledge in the field of social work through philanthropy. The SSWA also provides students the ability to voice their opinions concerning ASU’s social work program. SSWA is a great way to meet other students with similar interests and to get acquainted with the San Angelo community.
Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society (Sociology)
The purpose of the Alpha Kappa Delta honor society seeks to acknowledge and promote excellence in the scholarship in the study of sociology, the research of social problems, and such other social and intellectual activities as will lead to improvement in the human condition.
