The most visible ensemble on campus, the Ram Band provides spirit for and represents the entire ASU community at special events on and off campus, at all home football games, as the exhibition band at local compositions, and travels to at least one away game each year. The Ram Band entertains audiences by performing and executing at the highest quality both musically and visually while having fun in a family style atmosphere.
Placement auditions will be held the first day of Early Week to ensure each member is playing the part most suited for them. These auditions will not limit participation in the Ram Band.
Drumline and color guard auditions are primarily for placement purposes and will be conducted during Early Week Band Camp.
Twirler and Angelettes auditions usually take place in April for the upcoming fall season.
The ASU Drumline has become an icon for ASU Football. The ASU Drumline continues to build upon its strong history and tradition of excellence. Auditions for the 2019 ASU Drumline will be held at the beginning of Early Week in August. For more information, please contact Dr. Trent Shuey.
All students with high school color guard experience are encouraged to audition for the ASU color guard. Auditions for color guard are primarily for placement purposes.
The Angelettes are the official Angelo State University Dance Team and can be seen at home football and basketball games, as well as specially sanctioned university events.
Members of the Angelettes receive scholarships. Any current or incoming female student is welcome to audition.
