  • Dual Credit Course Payment Guide

    Costs

    Please reference your school’s agreement form to determine the anticipated cost for your courses. Once the student is registered for classes, a bill will be available in RamPort and the student will receive an email notification.

    Students: Where to View/Pay your Bill

    1. Login into RamPort with the username and password provided to you in an email from ASU. If you cannot find this email, contact the Help Desk at 325-942-2911.
    2. Click on the Dual Credit link in the menu on the left hand side of the page.
    3. Scroll down to view the Finances section.
    4. Click on View Bill to View your Bill or Pay Online to pay your bill. 
    5. Payments are accepted by credit card or by e-check. Parents/Guardian may pay if they are an authorized user. See instructions below. 

    Parents/Guardians: How to Pay Student’s Bill

    Parent/guardian email addresses provided on your application are automatically added as authorized users for dual credit students. When payments are due, authorized users will receive an email with a link to pay. If an email was not received, students need to follow the steps below to add a user or resend the payment link.

    For students to add additional authorized users:

    1. Student will login into RamPort with the username and password provided to you in an email from Angelo State University.
    2. Navigate to the Dual Credit page.
    3. Click the Web Pay Authorized users link in the Finances section.
    4. Enter an email address in the text field and click Add User
    5. Parents will receive an email within 24 hours notifying them of their access.

    For students to resend the payment link: Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for this link to become active for newly added users.

    1. Student will login into RamPort with the username and password provided to you in an email from Angelo State University.
    2. Navigate to the Dual Credit page.
    3. Click the Web Pay Authorized users link in the Finances section.
    4. Find the user’s email address to receive the link.
    5. Click Send Payment Link.

    Payment Deadlines

    Students and authorized users have the option to pay the bill in-full by the 18th class day or sign-up for an optional installment plan. If the installment plan is selected, the first payment and the $30 installment plan fee are due by the 18th class day.

    Installment Plan Option

    Installment plans are available for a $30 fee. A new payment plan form is required every semester.

    Notice: Signing up for the installment plan will add a $30 non-refundable fee to your bill. Before signing up for the installment plan, view your bill and determine if you would like to pay in-full instead.

    If you choose to set up an installment plan, the payment deadlines are as follows. Payments are due at 5:00 pm on the due dates.

    Each installment payment received after the payment deadline will receive a $40 non-refundable late fee.

  • Regent Scholars Cost (On ASU Campus)

    The costs below are effective beginning Fall 2019. 

    Tuition for courses taken on the ASU campus

    Students taking classes on the ASU campus will be charged $180.50 per credit hour. A three-hour course would cost $541.50 and a four-hour course would cost $722.00. Scholarships are not available.

    Textbooks and Textbook Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks required for the course and payment of any textbook fees for the course. 

    Parking Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing a parking permit and paying for any parking fines accrued. 

  • Online Courses Costs

    The costs below are effective beginning Fall 2019. 

    Tuition for Online Classes

    Students taking online/distance education dual credit classes will be charged $50.00 per credit hour. A three-hour course would cost $150.00 and a four-hour course would cost $200.00. Scholarships are not available.Cost options vary by high school.

    Textbooks and Textbook Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks required for the course and payment of any textbook fees for the course.
