Dual Credit Costs

  • Regent Scholars (On ASU Campus) Through Summer 2019

    The costs below are effective through summer 2019. Beginning in Fall 2019, a new cost structure will be in effect. Please see the fall 2019 rates for more information.

    All Regent Scholars Dual Credit students are eligible for a Carr Dual Credit Scholarship to offset the cost of tuition and fees each semester. Before scholarships, students in the program already receive a reduced tuition rate per course. Please view the appropriate cost chart below for more information.

    Regular Dual Credit Cost: $250

    Students who meet the admission requirements for the Regents Scholars Dual Credit Program, but are not eligible for a distinguished scholarship, will receive regular Carr Dual Credit Scholarships.

    Distinguished Dual Credit Cost: $125

    Students can qualify for the Carr Distinguished Dual Credit Scholarship to cover half of the cost of the course by meeting one of the following requirements below:

    1. ACT composite score of 23 or greater
    2. SAT composite score of 1130 or greater

    SAISD Contribution

    SAISD dual credit students receive a stipend to supplement the cost of an approved SAISD/ASU dual credit course.

    The stipend amount is $125 per course.

    Textbooks and Textbook Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks required for the course and payment of any textbook fees for the course. 

  • Regent Scholars (On ASU Campus) Beginning Fall 2019

    The costs below are effective beginning Fall 2019. 

    Tuition for courses taken on the ASU campus

    Students taking classes on the ASU campus will be charged $180.50 per credit hour. A three-hour course would cost $541.50 and a four-hour course would cost $722.00. Scholarships are not available.

    Textbooks and Textbook Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks required for the course and payment of any textbook fees for the course. 

    Parking Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing a parking permit and paying for any parking fines accrued. 

  • Online Courses

    The costs below are effective beginning Fall 2019. 

    Tuition for Online Classes

    Students taking online/distance education dual credit classes will be charged $50.00 per credit hour. A three-hour course would cost $150.00 and a four-hour course would cost $200.00. Scholarships are not available.Cost options vary by high school.

    Textbooks and Textbook Fees

    Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks required for the course and payment of any textbook fees for the course.
