The Texas Tech University System Board of Regents approved two new doctoral degree programs for Angelo State University at the board’s regular meeting earlier today (Oct. 16) in Lubbock.
Angelo State University’s online Master of Science (M.S.) in professional school counseling degree program and its director, Dr. Lesley Casarez, have been selected for a 2020 John R. Bourne Outstanding Online Program Award by the Online Learning Consortium (OLC).
Bill Rogers, a 34-year old Angelo State University graduate student from Liberia, has been selected to receive the 2020 Nelson Mandela Freedom Award from the Chicago-based We Dream in Color Foundation.
Angelo State University’s Department of Nursing has earned re-accreditation by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) following an extensive process that culminated with a campus site visit last fall by CCNE evaluators.
