Paying for Graduate School
The Office of Scholarship Programs offers several types of scholarships specifically for graduate students. Visit the website to learn more about application requirements and deadlines.
Carr Academic Graduate Scholarships
Carr Academic Graduate Scholarships are ASU’s premier scholarships for graduate students. Awards are based on undergraduate GPA. Students are considered for the Carr Academic Graduate Scholarship upon their acceptance into the College of Graduate Studies and Research. No application is required.
Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG)
The Texas Public Education Grant is a state program available to graduate students who demonstrate financial need and enroll at least half time. Funds are limited, so early application is encouraged. To learn more, contact the Financial Aid Office at 1-800-933-6299 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Several of our master’s degree programs offer graduate or teaching assistantships, and select programs offer research assistantships. These positions can significantly offset the cost of school. Contact your department for more information about application requirements and deadlines.
Long-term loans are available through the Financial Aid Office and consist of the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, the College Access Loan (CAL), and the Alternative Loan. To learn more, contact the Financial Aid Office at 325-942-2246 or email@example.com.
