ASU Homecoming

Since 1964 homecoming has been an autumn hallmark of ASU life.

Homecoming is a collaboration of the ASU Alumni Association, the Office of Communications and Marketing, Multicultural and Student Activities Programs, ASU Athletics and the students. A variety of activities are hosted to promote school spirit and involve every member of the Ram Fam, from students and alumni to members of the San Angelo community.

All ASU faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to participate in one of ASU’s oldest traditions!

Voting for Homecoming King and Queen:  An electronic ballot with nominees will be sent via email to all ASU undergraduate and graduate students. The email is sent from Qualtrics to the student’s ASU email address. Qualtrics is an online survey company that automatically generates accurate reports—no department or group has the ability to manipulate these reports. The Homecoming Committee, E-Learning Center, nor MSAP staff has capability to alter the electronic votes. Qualtrics generates information once voting closes and provides a report confirming the top nominees based on the ASU student votes.

Apply for Homecoming Committee

The Angelo State Homecoming Committee is responsible for the coordination and execution of one of the largest student run events, Homecoming. The Homecoming Committee works extremely hard to plan a week of great events.  It requires a large time commitment during the year. So please consider carefully whether or not you are able to make that commitment.

There will be weekly meetings beginning in the spring and continuing into the fall semester. Members of the Homecoming Committee may not participate in the Spirit Stick Contest or be elected for Homecoming King or Queen. It is highly recommended that students applying for a Chair position in the committee live in or near San Angelo during the summer.

Eligibility: All students are encouraged and invited to participate in the Homecoming Committee. Applicants should have a 2.0 cumulative GPA. The leadership skills and experience gained by being a member are invaluable for future success and can be applied in various ways in future endeavors.

Homecoming Committee Applications are now closed.

Congratulations to those selected for the 2018 Committee
