The ongoing Range Reclamation Project conducted by Angelo State University’s Department of Agriculture and Department of Physics and Geosciences was recognized with the 2017 Bruno Hanson/Midland College Environmental Excellence Award by the Midland College Petroleum Professional Development Center (PPDC) on Nov. 6 at the Executive Oil Conference in Midland.
Evelyn Burch, a senior in the Angelo State University Honors Program, has been named a 2017-18 Presidential Fellow by the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC), and she is currently attending the center’s annual Fall Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., through Oct. 28.
Angelo State University has been awarded a five-year, $2.75 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education (DoE) to support the implementation of ASU’s proposed new mechanical engineering program.
