The Center for International Studies is a passport agency on the Angelo State University campus. The Passport Office is located in the Center for International Studies building, 2419 West Avenue N, San Angelo.
Hours of Operation
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.- Noon
The Passport Office will be closed Monday, January 20, 2020, due to Martin Luther King day.
What Do I Need to Apply for a Passport?
Evidence of United States citizenship or nationality. This can be in the form of a:
- U.S. birth certificate
- Previous U.S. passport
- Naturalization certificate
- Citizenship certificate
- Certificate of U.S birth abroad
Proof of identification. This can be in the form of a:
- Government-issued identification
- Valid Driver’s license
- U.S. military ID card
- Valid foreign passport
- Enhanced Tribal Cards and Native American tribal photo IDs

Note: Overnight delivery is NOT available for passport cards and is optional for passport books.
*The Department of State ONLY accepts payment in the form of CHECK or MONEY ORDER. The check or money order should be made payable to the “Department of State.”
The passport execution fee and photo fee are separate fees payable to ASU. (Starting August 10, 2019, passport photo fees will increase to $15.)
