* Due to COVID-19, Camp UREC has been cancelled for Summer 2020.

The purpose of ASU Camp UREC is to provide a sport and development experience for boys and girls ages 5–12 years old and to develop a wide variety of fundamental physical activity skills that are inherent to a healthy lifestyle and a lifetime of physical fitness.

Camp UREC is lead by specially trained Angelo State University students. These camp counselors are passionate about sport and youth development. After rigorous training and background checks, the camp counselors develop a specific progression of lesson plans throughout the Summer. The curriculum they facilitate focuses on exposure to the University, developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and sport specific development.
