We are so excited you are attending classes with us. Here is a quick checklist to help you prepare before classes begin.
Test Your Access
Have you signed up for MyPassword? Have you logged into RamPort? Have you logged into Blackboard? Make sure you have your profile set up and notifications from Blackboard enabled.
Identify Your Source of Tech Support
We offer 24/7 technical support through our IT Service Center. You can reach them at email@example.com. For questions about Blackboard specifically, please reach out to our eLearning Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make sure you know the best way to reach your instructor with questions about the courses. Your instructor should share this with you either through email or Blackboard.
Need research materials? Use the online resources from the Porter Henderson Library. You can also get research support through email and chat services.
Review the Technology RequirementsFirst things first, make sure you have a stable internet connection. While a headset is not required, it may be helpful to have one (or a good set of earbuds with a microphone) for courses that will be delivered through a web conferencing system like Zoom or Webex.
