Regent Scholars

Get a head start on your college education by taking classes at Angelo State with current ASU students.

This program is available to high school students who want to take classes on the Angelo State campus and are willing to commute to classes in San Angelo.

What type of high school student are you?

Regent Scholars - Public High School

I’m a public high school student interested in taking dual credit classes in-person on Angelo State’s campus.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Complete and submit an online dual credit application for admission.
  2. Parent/Guardian submit the dual credit parent/guardian agreement form. Parents will receive an email with a link to submit this electronic form a few days after the student applies. This is sent to the parent email address entered on the dual credit application.
    1. Submitting the parent/guardian agreement form electronically is the fastest way to complete this step. However, a paper version of the Presidential Scholars Agreement Form is available if needed. This form must be printed, signed and returned to the high school counselor.
  3. Request your high school transcript and all test scores be sent to Angelo State.
    1. The preferred method to receive transcripts is via TREX.
  4. Review all available courses and complete a course selection sheet with your high school counselor.
