Concourse

Concourse provides us with a standard way to display course syllabus information, review syllabus progress, and archive syllabi. Concourse is integrated with the ASU webpage to allow syllabi searches, and within Blackboard for easy access. Some features of the system include:

• Consistent Structure: Concourse is an electronic repository with standard categories which makes reporting, reviewing, and searching possible.
• Accessibility: conform to Section 508(b) and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Easy Updates: Making changes to your syllabus is as easy as editing in MS Word.
• Editable Syllabus Items: With permissions, we can designate who has the ability to edit and view syllabus at a refined level. Instructors can modify their contact information, but aren’t able to edit Institutional content.
• Mobile Access: Formatted for the small screen, Concourse makes it easy to have all your course information anytime, anyplace, and on any mobile device.
• Account Integration: Faculty can access Concourse through Blackboard.
• Compliance: Meets accreditation requirements, government mandates, and internal policies that syllabi need to comply with.
• Content Migration: Faculty are able to import information from previous semesters into their current syllabus.

Students can access the Concourse syllabus from within your Blackboard course or on the ASU Courses and Faculty webpage. Using the Syllabus menu, you can select Print or Download a PDF to your computer or device of your choice. We recommend that students ‘View’ the syllabus since it will always be the most up-to-date version. Students can also navigate to various portions of the syllabus using the navigation on the right side of the page
