Jesse Taylor

I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2008. I earned my Master's Degree and PhD in Mathematics from Louisiana State University in May 2010 and August 2014, respectively. I am currently an Assistant Professor at Angelo State University.

My main research interest is Matroid Theory, although I enjoy all sorts of combinatorics. Outside of Mathematics, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, camping, and generally being outdoors. I often commute on foot or by bicycle. I also enjoy cooking, playing guitar, and reading good fiction.
