Whether you’re looking to try out for the ASU team or just love cheer, come spend the afternoon with members of the ASU Co-Ed Cheer Team.

Registration and Release Form
All participants must fill out a registration form. If you are under the age of 18, a Stunt Clinic Release Form signed by a parent/guardian is required for in-person clinics.
Walk-up registration will not be accepted on the day of the clinic.
Registration will close on Oct. 27th, 2022, at 11:59 pm. If the participant has any physical limitations, please make us aware of them at registration.
Cost
$30 per participant
We offer discounts for area Junior High & High School teams upon request. The group size must be more than 7 participants to qualify. Requests must be sent to cheer@angelo.edu
Who can attend the Stunt Clinics?
All junior high and high school students (grades 6-12)
What do I wear to the clinic?
All participants need to wear form-fitting athletic attire. Cheerleading shoes are required for all participants.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At this clinic, we will work on age and skill-appropriate stunts with safe skill progression. These will be group stunts, single leg, baskets, and pyramids. This is a great opportunity for participants to work on their stunting skills for gameday or help prep teams for their state UIL cheer competition.

Registration and Release Form
All participants must fill out a registration form. If you are under the age of 18, a Prep Clinic Release Form signed by a parent/guardian is required for in-person clinics. Participants over the age of 18 are required to complete a release waiver for in-person clinics.
Walk-up registration will not be accepted on the day of the clinic. Registration will close 24 hours before the event starts. Please let us know if your participant has any physical limitations at registration.

Who can attend recruitment clinics?

Attire
All participants need to wear fitting athletic attire. Cheerleading shoes are required for all participants.
Please wear the appropriate shirt color based on your current grade level below.

Women – A T-shirt or fitted top (For Flyers) and Hot Shorts (Nike Pros/Compression Shorts) are required.
Men – T-shirts, shorts, and compression shorts are required.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At this clinic, we will work on college-level group stunts, baskets, pyramids, tumbling, and gameday expectations and learn the ASU Fight Song. This is a great opportunity for participants to work on their skills to prepare for college tryouts or progress individual skills for their high school team.

Cost
$60 per person per participant
For attending this event, your child will receive an event T-shirt, tickets to the ASU Bells Basketball Game, & will participate in a Halftime performance. Parents and family members wanting to watch the performance at the Bells basketball game will be able to purchase a discounted ticket at the ticket office.

WHAT TO EXPECT
At Spirit Day, there will be a photo opportunity with current ASU Cheerleaders and mascots. We will have your future ASU Rams cheerleader learn some gameday chants they can use during any ASU sporting event. We will introduce them to tumbling, jumps, and stunting. We will also have some fun stations for them to participate in.
By attending this event, your child will receive an event T-shirt, tickets to the ASU Belles Basketball Game, & Halftime performance during the women’s basketball game. The Belles basketball game starts at 1 pm. There will be a designated section for participants and families to sit in. ASU cheerleaders will get participants from the stands to prepare them for their performance.
