#GoGreek
We’re home to eight social Greek organizations
that are a fundamental part of student life at Angelo State and are committed to academic excellence, growing as leaders on campus, participating in philanthropic services in our community, and providing support and unity across our campus to Greek and non-Greek members alike.
Fraternities
Angelo State has five national fraternities on campus. Joining a fraternity allows you to engage in philanthropic service, establish your leadership skills and make friends that last a lifetime.
Sororities
Our three sororities encourage high academic excellence, leadership skills, community service efforts and, of course, life-long friendships.
Alpha Class
If you decide to join a fraternity or sorority, you must participate in Alpha Class, our new member education program. This program consists of workshops that address topics such as hazing, responsible alcohol management, violence prevention, scholarship, leadership and what it means to be a member of our Greek community.
Greek Week
Greek Week is an annual competition among the Greek organizations that consists of events to foster Greek unity. Check the ASU Calendar in the spring for the schedule of events!
Greek Awards
Greek Awards recognize individuals and chapters on campus who have gone above and beyond to represent the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.
Greek Council
The Greek Council strives to improve the fraternity and sorority life community and to facilitate communication between Greek Life and the general student body. Members include two Greek Council co-chairs, the Panhellenic Council president, the Interfraternity Council president, each fraternity and sorority chapter president, and a chosen representative from each chapter.
