Students will utilize scenario-based learning and readings from a variety of influential authors, and they will receive five hours of professional coaching from a coach credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Selected students will meet monthly for a classroom-based experience and will be matched with a mentor to enhance their development. Curriculum for this program will bring to life the competent leader model within the President’s Academy for Life-long Leaders.
This program is limited to 50 students and will have two cohorts.

Currently, the Student Leader Development Program is a spring-only initiative geared toward junior-standing students. If you are not a junior and are interested in participating, you will need to be in good academic standing and have a desire to grow as a leader to apply.
Application deadline is Nov. 17.

Cohorts
The pilot cohort of the Student Leader Development Program consisted of 15 students representing multiple facets of ASU’s campus culture. They completed the program in May 2023. We will increase the size of the cohort after applying lessons learned from the pilot.
