The ASU Rodeo Team competes in the NIRA Southwest Region against teams from 17 other colleges and universities in Texas and New Mexico. In addition to representing ASU, our team also embodies San Angelo’s rich rodeo heritage. Our rodeo student-athletes train near the same facilities that host one of the largest PRCA rodeos in the nation, the annual Cinch Roping Fiesta and the Bulls of the West freestyle bullfighting competition.

In our region, rodeo is more than just an event, it’s a lifestyle. Because of this, the ASU Rodeo Team enjoys incredible support from both the Ram Family and the San Angelo and area communities.
