ASU Officials Association
You Can Become a Certified Official.
The ASU Officials Association is responsible for recruiting, training and evaluating students interested in officiating intramural sports. Levels of expertise are determined through training, written examinations, game ratings and game experience. Officials work during games of flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and/or softball.
Any student can participate. No experience is necessary. Training is provided and mandatory. Please see the training schedule below. Once certified by the association, students can officiate in area recreational events and junior high and high school leagues, as well as at the state, regional and national intramural levels.
