About Grace Tyler
When Grace Tyler isn’t writing music, performing in the Country Music Capital of the World, or producing songs with her friend and mentor Lee Brice, you’ll find her enjoying life with her friends and cheering on the hometown Dallas Cowboys.
Born and raised in Frisco, TX, Tyler has loved country music for as long as she can remember. Indoctrinated at an early age by the melodies of Dolly Parton and George Strait, she knew no other genre or path to music stardom existed. By the age of 14, she was performing live in venues across the Texas Country and Red Dirt music circuit. By 16 she had won music competitions and caught the eyes of hot-shot music executives, and by 17 she was visiting Nashville regularly to write songs and cut music while attending Belmont University.
Tyler’s love for live music drove her to the stage. But unlike so many others, she fell in love with performing before exploring her untapped knack for writing music. The emotion and reaction from a live audience is what fueled her determination to make a name for herself in the competitive country music landscape.
Most heavily influenced by fellow Texan Miranda Lambert, Tyler first felt the taste of fame when publishing “My Mistake,” the viral breakup single that first captured ears and hearts on TikTok and has since collected over 500,000 listens on Spotify.
Every now and then, you can catch Tyler performing alongside country music superstar Lee Brice. The duo shares a manager, and first collaborated in the studio after Brice was struck by one of Tyler’s tracks. The musicians have since developed a strong friendship, and most recently co-produced Tyler’s “Bad Boy” and “Cowboys & Tequila” in the Summer of 2022.
