Please identify one person (student, faculty or staff) who will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the social media account(s).
Please identify the account administrators that will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the social media account(s).
We highly recommend having at least two full-time faculty/staff members as administrators. Make sure these individuals understand the time and resources needed to invest in this project.
Identifying your target audience will help guide you in creating content and choosing the right platform. Please identify which of the following audience(s) you plan to interact with.
Briefly explain the purpose of your social media account(s) and what your primary goal is. For example, do you want to promote a campaign, department or organization? Be specific as possible.
Example: The goal is to create an Instagram account to engage current and prospective students by posting 3-5 times a week. We will share submitted student content, post polls on our story, and ask a question in each post.
Create a timeline on how you plan to evaluate the success of your account(s), using the goals you outlined above.
Example: Start an Instagram account in August and post 3 times a week. Reach at least 200 followers by November. In January, we will re-evaluate by asking the following questions: Was posting 3 times a week on Instagram successful? Did we get at least x amount of likes/comments on each post? Should we continue using Instagram?
