The day after April Fools’ is International Fact Checking Day, make sure that you have the skills not to be fooled!

International Fact-Checking Day was just yesterday (the day after April Fool’s), but the skills needed to not be swayed by hoaxes and fake news can be used and taught year-round. This video gives some of the basics, and additional information can be found elsewhere on the site using the toolbar at the top of the web page. Of particular interest to budding education and communication professionals will be the lesson plan, but this requires supplying contact information in order to download.
