Susan J. Williams, director of affiliated military and veteran services, was named the 2017-18 spokesperson for four-year public institutions for the Texas Association of Collegiate Veteran Program Officials (TACVPO).
The TACVPO is a statewide organization whose primary goal is to help educate staff members who provide assistance to veterans and their family members using state and federal veterans education benefits at educational institutions throughout Texas. As the organization’s representative for four-year public institutions, Williams is tasked with identifying current issues, as well as developing educational sessions and other programming for the 44th annual TACVPO School Certifying Officials Conference in March 2018 in San Antonio.
