Colten Hughes, a member of the Rams Clay Target Team, won the Men’s International Trap competition at the Association of College Unions International’s (ACUI) Lower Midwest International Championships in San Antonio in October 2016.
A Big Spring native, Hughes took first place ahead of 30 other student competitors representing Baylor University, Schreiner University, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Tech University and Trinity University. He also placed ninth in the Men’s International Skeet competition.
