Vikash Ramnanan, a psychology major/philosophy minor from Trinidad, was selected as a program presenter and was awarded two scholarships at the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society’s annual convention in April 2017 in Louisville, Ky.

Ramnanan won a presentation prize in the Research Presentation Contest for his project titled “Enclothed Cognition and How Our Self-Perception Affects Our Cognitive and Emotional States.” Based on his convention presentation and academic standing, Ramnanan also received an Alpha Chi Region I Scholarship and the ASU Alpha Chi Iota Chapter Scholarship.
