Jarett Lujan, a graduate student from Marfa, was appointed as the student regent for the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents for the 2017-18 academic year.
He becomes the 12th student to serve on the Board of Regents and is the third student regent from ASU. In addition, Lujan is the first Hispanic student to serve on the board. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from ASU in 2016.
