Dr. Carolyn Gascoigne, dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, co-edited a new reference book for educators and researchers that was published in April 2017 by Channel View Publications.

Titled “Creating Experiential Learning Opportunities for Language Learners: Acting Locally while Thinking Globally,” the 296-page book is part of Channel View Publications’ “Multilingual Matters” series. It features chapters written by 15 educators, including Gascoigne, highlighting their research-based innovations in experiential learning for second language acquisition in domestic settings. Gascoigne also co-wrote the introduction.
