In the first Great War Centennial Commemoration Lecture Series event of the 2018-19 Academic Year, Prof. David Krugler (University of Wisconsin–Platteville) spoke to over 200 attendees about the challenges that African Americans faced during the Great War Era. He talked about their fight for equality in a deeply racist American society, in the press, and in the criminal justice system.
A local reporter also covered the event. Read his report by clicking this link.
