Dr. William Kitch, chair of ASU’s David L. Hirschfeld Department of Engineering, was named the lead principal investigator for a project funded by a $99,871 grant from the National Science Foundation for the purpose of conducting a regional conference for stakeholders in undergraduate Hispanic science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
In partnership with seven other institutions, ASU hosted the conference at El Centro College in Dallas in February 2018.
